In winter the Ulten Valley offers unspoilt white landscapes and many hours of sunshine. Whether you want to explore the slopes of the Schwemmalm ski area, set off on a ski tour or prefer to trudge across the lonely countryside on snowshoes, we are happy to give you helpful tips.
The Schwemmalm ski area is snow-sure and almost never crowded. A total of 25 kilometres of slopes are waiting to be explored on skis. In the valley, many beautiful snowshoe hiking trails and ski tours with fantastic downhill runs await you. There is a cross-country ski run, a toboggan run and an ice rink.

With every step through the snow your heart beats a little more in harmony with nature. Winter hiking and snowshoe hiking exerts a very special fascination and especially on the car-free Vigiljoch these winter activities are idyllic. The high plateau is known for its unspoilt nature and the many power places.
You can start directly from the PacherGut or go to Lana and take the cable car up to the Vigiljoch. There you will find a lot of relaxation and a small but nice family ski area with a toboggan run. And after a day in the snow, you can relax in your apartment and look out over the snow-covered mountains and dream.
